AI is a tool, not an oracle
The people who get the most out of Wysor roughly know what the answer should look like before they ask. They don't ask once and hope. They shape the result in two or three rounds, the way you would shape clay.
- Rough form. Say what the result should look like: "Draft a client email, half a page, three points: status, risk, next step."
- Shape. Correct what doesn't fit: "Make point 2 more concrete and add the deadline. More formal tone."
- Finish. The final touches: "Drop the last paragraph and add a subject line."
Whatever you leave out, the model has to guess. Every detail you add removes one guess.
The four building blocks of a good prompt
- Role, who should answer? "You are an associate in corporate law."
- Task, what exactly? Summarize, review, draft, compare.
- Context, what is it for, and for whom? Attach the document.
- Format, what should it look like? Table, bullet points, email, length, tone.
You are an associate in corporate law. Summarize the attached minutes for the client, with resolutions and deadlines. As a table, one page at most.

Weak prompts and better ones

"Summarize this."
→
"Summarize the minutes in five bullet points for the client: resolutions, deadlines, open points."
"Write an email to the client."
→
"Draft a short, formal email to Mr. Müller: confirm the meeting on 28 October and request the missing power of attorney."
"Is the contract okay?"
→
"Check the liability clause in the attached supply contract. Quote it. Where are we worse off than usual?"
"What does case law say about dismissal?"
→
"Find Federal Labour Court rulings since 2020 on dismissal for time fraud, with case numbers."
"Write a LinkedIn post."
→
"Turn the attached article into a LinkedIn post: factual, 150 words at most, ending with a question."
Always check the result. Review every AI output before you use it, especially citations, deadlines and figures. Wysor does not provide legal or medical advice.
Write the good prompt only once
If you keep typing the same role, tone and rules, save them in a Persona agent. From then on they are part of every question, and your whole team gets answers in the same style. Ready-made prompts for common tasks are available as Skills.
