Interpreter

A two-way live interpreter for conversations across languages.

What is the Interpreter?

The Interpreter lets two people talk who don't share a language, for example you and a patient or client. You speak in your language, the other person hears it in theirs, and their reply is spoken back to you in yours. Each turn is transcribed, translated and read aloud, so nobody has to pass a phone back and forth.

Each turn is transcribed, translated and spoken aloud for the other side.

How to use it

  1. Set your language. Under Voice & language, choose the language you speak and a voice. Wysor remembers it for every future session.
  2. Pick the other person's language and tap Start session.
  3. Place the device between you and the other speaker. Tap to start, you speak first. Tap again when you're done with your turn, then the other person speaks.
  4. End the session when you're done. The transcript is saved under Recent sessions.

Languages

More than 40 languages are available, including right-to-left languages such as Arabic and Farsi. Most are interpreted aloud. A few (for example Farsi, Pashto, Albanian and Somali) are marked text only: the translation is shown as text because no spoken voice is available yet.

Transcripts

Every session is saved turn by turn, with the original and the translation for each side, so you can review what was said afterwards without taking notes during the conversation. You can delete any session from your history at any time.

Privacy

Conversations are processed on European infrastructure and never used to train AI models. The audio is interpreted live; what is kept is the text transcript, which you control.

Please note: the Interpreter is a communication aid, not a certified interpreter. For consent, diagnoses and other critical information, check that you were understood, and use a professional interpreter where the law or the situation requires one.

Tips

  • Speak in short, complete sentences and pause after each one.
  • Use a quiet room and keep the device close to whoever is speaking.
  • If a turn runs too long or nothing is heard, the session pauses; just tap to continue.
