Your data: zero data retention and no ad pixels

What happens to your messages, why there are no advertising pixels, and what Wysor never does.

Zero data retention

To answer, an AI model has to read your message. The question is what is left of it afterwards. With zero data retention, the model provider answers your request and keeps no copy: no history, nothing to sample, nothing to hand over. On Wysor this is the default for every connected model provider, on every plan.

Your own chats and documents are stored encrypted in the EU, so you and your team can come back to them. You can delete them at any time. Depending on the model you choose, processing can also take place outside the EU, covered by standard contractual clauses and zero data retention.

No advertising pixels

Many websites carry invisible tracking pixels from Google or Meta. They report which page you opened, when, from where and on which device, and that is how what you read turns into the ad you see next. A preprint by the IMDEA Networks Institute, reported by heise online in October 2026 and not yet peer-reviewed, looked at the consumer web apps of nine large AI chat providers (not their API access): all of them shared data with third parties, five passed links to chat histories to trackers, and around 81 % of trackers stayed active even after users declined cookies.

Wysor loads no advertising pixel from Google, Meta or any other ad network. For usage statistics we use an analytics service hosted in the EU: without your consent only anonymously, without cookies and without your IP address. Cookies and session recordings only with your consent.

No reuse, no sale

Where a provider is allowed to reuse what you type, a confidential file can become a product in four steps: it comes in, the name is removed, it is pooled with thousands of others, and it is sold. "Anonymous" data can often be traced back to a person. Wysor takes no licence to reuse your content. We never train on it and never sell it, anonymized or not.
